We only book artists who can provide at least 90 minutes (2 - 25 min sets) of material, of which at least 51% must be original compositions.
Our goal for the artists is to establish a regular viable off-night venue for touring acoustic musicians which benefits local causes.
Davis, Oklahoma is located in I-35 approximately 1 hour south of Oklahoma City (also Will Rogers International Airport and I-40) and 2 hours north of Dallas (also DFW International Airport and I-20).
The artists receive lodging in a truly luxurious room at the LaVille Inn (CLICK HERE for a virtual tour) free meals, an opportunity to earn up to $500 (or more if standing room only-it has happened) plus product sales (many artists realize $300 or more in CD sales), expand their fan base, all while benefiting a good local cause.
We strongly prefer no sound system as we have a very, very live room. Hence, Americana Unplugged. The majority of artists have performed completely unplugged. Stacey Earle calls it a "Ryman room" as even her soft voice carried well.
Although we do prefer the ambiance and freedom of movement of the artist, we can gladly accommodate most tech requests if specifically requested, but we really hope you don't.
Each show is a benefit for a local cause. Artists receive 100% of door and product sales. Local businesses have pledged to match a percentage of the door for each specified local cause and others have provided the hospitality below. A real win-win-win for all.
Also, we would like to politely inquire as to each artist's availability and willingness to perform a gratis short 4 song set for a local nursing home, veterans center, school etc, usually between 2 - 4 the day of the show or the next morning/afternoon, but the times are pretty flexible. It makes a great photo op, and definitely helps build a stronger fan base for future shows for both the artist and the series. Please do let us know if it's a possibility, and if not, no problem, seriously.

Directions to Venue: From I-35 in Oklahoma, take exit 55 and head east on Hwy 7 about 4 miles into downtown Davis. The La Ville Inn is on the corner on the right at the only stop light. Turn right at the light and park next to the Inn. Free transportation to/from either Dallas or OKC airports available with at least 30 days advance notice.

Load-in Time: 6 pm
Sound System? Yes - only if specifically requested in advance by the artist. We strongly prefer no sound system as we have a very, very live room. Most artists perform completely unplugged.
8 xlr or 1/4" input Kustom PA w/ individual vol/reverb/bass/treb control and master EQ out to 2 mono Peavy Monitors available.

Format: Two 45 min sets with 30 min break
Compensation Terms: 100% gate and 100% CD sales - will try to get volunteer to help with CD sales, but not certain until day of show. $300 guarantee.
Hospitality: 1 room at Inn provided - Probably one of the most luxurious and romantic rooms the artist has ever stayed in. Check in time is 4pm, but almost always can be earlier with advance notice. Additional lodging may be available with advance notice, but not necessarily at the LaVille Inn. Check out is 11 am.
Meals - Prior to the show a free meal at a Mexican restaurant across the street. Restaurants are closed after the show
Free Breakfast is available at the 77 Grill, typical country breakfast and very, very good.

CD's: Prefer at least one to be played in the LaVille Inn's LaBrue coffee shop in weeks prior to show to help build buzz.
